Hi there! I’m a filmmaker, video editor, and graphic designer based in Washington, DC.
I create dynamic video and digital media content for political campaigns, social causes, and organizations, with an emphasis on content for social media. I’ve produced video content and other digital media for a variety of political campaigns and nonprofit organizations while working for Trippi Norton Rossmeissl (TNR) Campaigns, including Doug Jones for Senate, Teresa Tomlinson for Senate, Pam Keith for Congress, and the Humane Society Legislative Fund.
Prior to joining TNR campaigns, I was a postgraduate Fellow with the documentary news series FRONTLINE on PBS and the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University. In this role, I was the primary archival researcher for Trump’s Trade War and contributed significantly to reporting, including researching and writing background memos, coordinating and conducting background interviews and pre-interviews, and monitoring news coverage. I’ve also worked as a production assistant to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and producer Hedrick Smith, working closely with him and the editor during the post-production process of the PBS documentary Democracy Rebellion.
I produced, directed, and edited Game Flow, a short documentary about the mental health benefits of gaming, which won the Social Impact and Student Awards at the 2020 DC Webfest.
I hold an MFA in Film & Electronic Media from American University, where I concentrated in documentary filmmaking for political, cultural, and social impact. Prior to attending graduate school, I worked in Program Operations at PBS for nearly 4 years. I completed my undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College.
When I’m not producing digital media, I love playing video games and thinking about the intersection of media and society. I’ve presented papers on games, media, and culture at several academic conferences, including internationally. You can read my paper about “glitch horror” and game fan fiction here. Someone even wrote a review about it!
